Two twins make a king, but not just any twins will do. A standard king size mattress is 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. ... The easy solution to this conundrum is to use two XL twin beds which, at 80 inches in length, will be exactly the same length as a king size mattress.
Are 2 single beds equal to a king?
2 regular twins do NOT equal a king (but it can work). I had always heard that two twins equal a king in size and this is true with 2 twin XL (extra long) mattresses (like colleges) but NOT with regular twin mattresses. 2 regular twin mattress are the same width but shorter in length than a king by 5″ (76″x75″).

Can I put two twin mattresses on a king frame?
King size bedding should fit your two Twin XL mattresses perfectly. If you do decide to push two Twin mattresses together, the shorter length would probably require either custom bedding, or two separate Twin fitted sheets to prevent too much movement of King sheets.
