Would Instagram Delete My Account?

Instagram will not delete your account without your consent. An Instagram account will not be deleted even if it's inactive for a very long time. Your Instagram account will only be deleted if you've requested to delete your account from the “Delete Your Account” page.

How long until Instagram deletes your account?

Instagram users can temporarily disable their account to hide their profile, photos, comments, and likes until they want to reactivate it by logging back in. They can also put in a request for the permanent deletion of their account, after which Instagram takes 90 days to completely remove the account.

Why did my Instagram account disappear?

The reasons for the disappearing act may include accidental deletion after a technical malfunction on the Instagram side, deliberate removal by someone with the account password, hacker activity, other users reporting an account for violations of Instagram's terms of service or potential abuse of those reporting tools.
