The final color may vary from our color chart depending on the type of grout you are using for the project – white or gray, sand or non-sanded.
Can you tint existing grout?
There are two ways you can change the colour of your grout. You can either remove the old and replace it with new, or you can dye your existing grout. The latter will only work if you currently have light grout and you want to dye it darker.
What can I use to tint grout?
Some homeowners also tint their grout with acrylic paint before applying it. After the grout is mixed, just squeeze a little bit of the paint into the bucket; mix again until it is evenly blended. Keep in mind that the grout will lighten once it’s dried, so make the grout slightly darker.
