Out of more than 350 sets of brothers in the major league, the only set of three brothers to have been All-Stars are the DiMaggios.

Vince DiMaggio

Vince DiMaggio, the eldest brother, had an outstanding career as a center fielder.

During his distinguished 10-year baseball career, he showcased his skills and versatility by playing for several teams across Major League Baseball.

His journey took him from the Boston Bees (1937–1938) to the Cincinnati Reds (1939–1940), followed by stints with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1940–1945), Philadelphia Phillies (1945–1946), and finally the New York Giants in 1946.

While Vince did not reach the same level of success as his brothers, he still made two All-Star appearances.

He possessed a powerful swing and was known for his ability to hit for both power and average.

Joe DiMaggio

Joe DiMaggio, the middle of the trio, is widely regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time.

Nicknamed “The Yankee Clipper” or “Joltin’ Joe,” Joe was a legendary center fielder for the New York Yankees.

He was a 13-time All-Star and won three Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards.

Joe’s incredible 56-game hitting streak in 1941 remains a record in Major League Baseball and is considered one of the sport’s most hallowed achievements.
