The easiest way to find out where the diagrams are is to buy the right map. In this case it will be the "Edwin Greloff's third map" which you can buy from the Novigrad Armorer. Of course you can also look for diagrams on your own.
During one of his numerous adventures, Geralt got his hands on a map covered with strange markings. He quickly deduced that they indicated the locations of hidden witcher caches and, intrigued by the chance of discovering long-lost crafting schematics, he set out to find them.

Beautiful. Professor Slavko Atimstein will be furious. I lost the first map in a game of gwent, and then the second was stolen from me while I was slightly indisposed after a hard night in the casino. I cannot arrive empty-handed at the station near the tomb under Crookback Hills or the professor will vivisect me on the spot. The four new locations I have marked on this map might be enough to protect me from his wrath.
