Toni Collette and Husband of Nearly Two Decades Decide to Divorce After He’s Spotted Kissing Another Woman

Popular actress Toni Collette has revealed her separation from her long-time partner Dave Galafassi following the emergence of photos showing him kissing another woman.

The 50-year-old actress shared the news on her recently reactivated Instagram account on Wednesday, December 7, confirming the end of her nearly two-decade union with the 44-year-old musician.

“It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing,” read the joint statement, accompanied by an image of a floral arrangement spelling out “PEACE & LOVE.”

“We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other,” the statement continued. “Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape.”

Collette and Galafassi exchanged vows in 2003 and have split their time between the United States and Australia in recent years.

They have two children together: 14-year-old daughter Sage Florence and 11-year-old son Arlo Robert.

“We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully,” the pair concluded their statement, adding, “Big thanks.”
