After the death of the longtime “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek, the game show has decided that it will take not one — but two — people to fill his shoes: Mike Richards, the show's executive producer, will become its new regular host and the actress Mayim Bialik will take over for prime time specials.
Who did Alex Trebek suggest as his replacement?
Video resurfaces of Trebek saying he wanted Laura Coates to replace him as 'Jeopardy' host. In a 2018 interview, Trebek named CNN legal analyst Coates as his potential replacement at the show's helm.
Who will host Jeopardy in 2021?
Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik will host the syndicated version of "Jeopardy!" for the rest of 2021, Sony Pictures Television announced Thursday. The two will take the reins while the search for a new, permanent host to take over for the late Alex Trebek continues in the wake of Mike Richards' exit.
